John Abraham’s Mumbai home is as celebrated as the man himself, reflecting his simplicity and practicality. It radiates his positivity and healthy lifestyle at every turn.
Imagined and created by his brother, Alan Abraham, John’s Mumbai residence is the envy of many. The spacious duplex apartment is a plain reflection of the heartthrob who exemplifies style and healthy living. His plush apartment is well-lit with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that overlook the idly lashing waves of the Arabian Sea.
The living room opens to timbered accents and contemporary furnishings that are highlighted with subtle illumination. Being an audiophile, John’s home plays host to several speakers that play his favourite tunes. His entertainment space is adorned by a large curved display that treats John to some choicest entertainment. His prized collectibles include a book on JRD Tata and a chess set, which was presented to him by Viswanathan Anand. Little did we know that the fast-riding superstar’s favourite sport was chess.
His stroll-in wardrobe is his sanctuary with a collection of helmets signed by celebrated riders including the indomitable Valentino Rossi. A true patriot at heart, John treasures his very own tricolour that lays neatly folded in his wardrobe. His personal gym is where many of his fans would love to be at. It’s here that John spends a lot of his time, training to achieve his personal fitness goals with a disciplined regimen and world-class equipment. His favourite here is a functional ab-crunching machine, which is the reason for his chiselled body.
John’s interior home décor has been recognized for its brilliance in design by the Indian Institute of Architectural Design and it’s no surprise that even with its luxurious confines and spell-binding amenities, for John, it’s truly where the heart is.
