Come explore the viral prodigy and one of the most sought after musicians in the country’s home with Asian Paints Where The Heart Is.
Chennai has been the home of global superstars like Rajnikanth and A R Rehman and now music prodigy Anirudh Ravichander. Asian Paints Where The Heart Is visits the Detroit of India to meet this music sensation and dashing young man. Even though his debut song, “Why This Kolaveri Di”, became a viral sensation overnight and across the globe but Anirudh Ravichander is no one-hit wonder, he is here to stay and rule.
All the accolades apart, his home reflects the bare simplicity that he grew up in.A typical Chennai home, the main door is a traditionally carved wooden panel that greets you. Once inside, you will see the Oonjal (traditional wooden swing) adorning his living cum dining room. Even though it is an apartment, it doesn’t feel like one because of the greenery around. Surrounded by big mango trees, they almost are part of the house with the large glass windows running all around the house.
Anirudh grew up in this house along with his sister. One of the new additions is the inclusion of the other flat on the same floor as the sibling side of the house. Both of them have done it up their way with the home theatre being the talking point of this side along with an architectural surprise in Anirudh’s room!
Though Anirudh spends a lot of time touring for concerts or in his recording studio where he works with his friends who he started out with as a small band with, he does like spending whatever time he can squeeze at home.
What makes it home for this young trailblazer? Find out all about Anirudh Ravichander as he opens his home for the very first time to Asian Paints Where The Heart Is.
