Milestone 1: In 1994, Singapore – Sri Lanka joint Venture, Causeway Paints Lanka (Pvt) Ltd approved by the Board of Investment for local and offshore businesses

Milestone 2: In 1999, Asian Paints began operations in Sri Lanka by acquiring the then famous Delmege Forsyth Paints Ltd

Milestone 3: In 2002, Asian Paints Sri Lanka launched the first Colour World - a revolutionary concept in the retail paint industry with a total of over thousand unique shades along with ready-to-use combinations

Milestone 4: In 2017, Causeway Paint was acquired by Asian Paints Sri Lanka and reached another milestone by becoming a part of global paint company

Milestone 5: In 2019, Causeway Paints marked the 25 years of excellence in Paints Manufacturing industry in Sri Lanka

Milestone 6: In September 2020, company has launched new Asian Paints Causeway logo

Milestone 7: In December 2020, Asian Paints Causeway has launched first products under the new brand name Asian Paints Causeway

Milestone 8: In April 2021, Asian Paints Sri Lanka and Causeway Paints merged together and became the company Asian Paints Causeway

IMPRINTS is an International Internship Program for undergraduates who are from top universities which focused on developing the undergraduates into polished leaders by providing them great responsibilities, structured learning, and global exposure. Annually Interns recruit for Human Resources Management, Supply Chain Management, Technology, and Marketing functions and enable them to connect with leaders and offer structured projects which provide value additions to the company.

We create young leaders for the business world by providing mentorship from seasoned leaders and impactful learning opportunities from the first day onwards.

1.       Menu Attanayake – Marketing Intern - 2021/22

As a fresher to the corporate world, I could able to get exposure to a multi-national company which is a dream of university undergraduates. And also got the opportunity to be a part of the Imprints- Global internship program which added a high value to my career journey. Further, I was guided by a separate supervisor who is a talented brand manager & her clear directions helped me to understand my project clearly & to work effectively on it. I have experienced how our marketing-related academic studies are creatively applied by industry experts during my internship with Asian Paints Causeway. So I feel the overall experience with Asian Paints Causeway is a truly exciting experience for me as it is a knowledge-based hands-on experience received in a multi-national work environment.

2.      Nimesha Liyanage – Marketing Intern - 2021/22

My first corporate experience with Asian Paint Causeway is amazing for my career life. The company helped me to enhance and grab the experience of coordination and working as a team in a better way. Further, that helped me to enhance my interpersonal skills. The working environment of this organization is good for employees to work in happily too.

3.      Sasmi Abeysekara – Marketing Intern - 2021/22

It is one of my greatest privileges to start my career at Asian Paint Causeway. My corporate life experience was wonderful. The experience has been enriching and full of learning. I appreciate the immense support given by HR to us. The monthly reviews and review meetings with the General Manager were great opportunities that helped us to develop ourselves. I was grateful to receive the advice from the industry giant and the valuable insights that he has shared with us.

4.      Ishara Gunawardena – Marketing Intern - 2021/22

It is a privilege for me to me do an internship in a multinational company Asian Paint Causeway. Even though I have learnt different theories related to marketing, this internship helps me to understand how these theories work in the practical world. I think this internship is well matched to me, to get knowledge about the practical world of Marketing. I have got a lot of hands-on experiences from this Internship.

5.      Hiruni Sandhiprabha – Human Resources Intern – 2020/21

I had a wonderful internship experience at Asian Paint Causeway because I had the opportunity to work on projects like employer branding and organizing induction sessions. The practical experience and the knowledge that I have received after working with HR professionals at Asian Paints Causeway have provided more value addition to my career.

6.     Deshini Sirinaga - Human Resources Intern – 2020/21

I should say that I am extremely glad that I have taken this opportunity which helped me to develop my skills and knowledge as a Human Resources Intern. Asian Paints Causeway allowed me to work with Senior Managers from the first day which was a great chance to develop our personalities.
