Why is there bluish greenish appearance on the paint film?
What is it?
Growth of microorganisms on paint film may cause aesthetic and structural damage with bluish greenish appearance.
Possible Causes:
Painting over surface affected with microbial growth.
Seepage/Dampness in structure.
Contamination of paint.
Dust depositon over painted surface when comes in contact with moisture.
Dirty water used for thinning of paint.
Solutions:
Clean with bleach solution.
Repaint the area with proper painting procedure.
Treat with Bio wash before painting.
Avoid damp wall and eliminate sources of moisture.
Use clean water for thinning.
